Good to know
Do my technicians need to install anything?
No. FiberOps runs in the phone's browser. They open the link, sign in, and can add it to the home screen so it works like an app. It works on iPhone and Android.
What happens when a tech has weak signal?
Photos are saved on the phone the moment they are taken and upload in the background with automatic retries. The tech keeps working, and nothing is lost if they close the app.
Does it replace the system I already report to?
No. FiberOps handles the work you do in the field and the office review around it. After a job is approved, you complete your step in the other system, then close the work order here with a reference number so both sides match.
Who can see pay and approve jobs?
Only admins can approve jobs and record payments. Dispatchers can create and assign work and run light tests, but they cannot touch pay. Technicians see only their own jobs, and you choose whether they see pay.
Who owns our data?
You do. Each company gets its own private workspace. Payroll exports to CSV, and every job can be saved as a PDF report with its photos.
